Used wooden railway sleepers for disposal
Railway sleepers containing creosote (EWC code 170204*), as well as wood waste containing other substances harmful to the environment (EWC codes 191206*, 200137*), as well as other wood waste that does not contain harmful substances, such as EWC codes 170201, 191207 and 200138.
Wooden railway sleepers, EWC code 170204 *, are hazardous waste. SBRAB accepts a gate fee payment for their disposal on the terms of delivery to the Trollhättan plant by car, rail wagon, as well as by ship delivered to the Trollhättan terminal.
The European Union subsidizes railway sleeper disposal projects in all EU member states, providing money to entities responsible for removing them from railway lines, destroying and burning them.
Currently, SBRAB gate fees for delivered railway sleepers are:
- 43€/t DAP plant in Sweden, by truck or rail wagon
- 41€/t DAT port Trollhättan, with ships with a displacement of up to 3000 MT, with unloading at the terminal from where they will be collected by our road transport.
The exporter bears the costs of transport to the plant in Sweden.
